LOL spent a lot of time with the bois, as usual. Anyway, will be working on chap 82 this week. My goal is to get it done by Thursday sometime. Friday I have to travel for work and then Saturday I'm doing an overnight trip with the boys to a small sci-fi con where we'll be going to a geeky party. I think they are trying to set me up. ;)
Have to be careful though. Right now I have this desire to go back and re-watch Stargate Atlantis. So..I'm going to have to use watching it as reward for writing and not something to do instead of writing. :)
Not all of this weekend was with K and B though. I did get to take my nephew to the new GI Joe movie. My nephew is getting so old now. He's voice has changed..and is all talk about video games. Didn't really like the movie..but enjoyed the time with him.
Saturday ran my game with K & B and another couple, S & A. The bois threatened to hijack chap 83 with a game related scene involving B's character (a clouded leopard pookah) and a Garou. LOL Bad bois! Don't worry...they are only allowed to read Sneer not write it!
There are many things to love about S and her husband A, but one thing that I love that helps me with my writing is that A is from England and S's family is Welsh. So while she doesn't have an accent (she was born and raised in the midwest) they both know Brit slang. In fact, A only just came to the states about a year ago. So...hanging out with them is not only fun...but it's research too! Listening to A helps a lot as I make mental notes for writing Spike. LOL I've even had conversations with A about Brit slang.
On a worrisome note; took my oldest kitty (16yrs) to the vet. Waiting on the results of his blood work. Hoping it's a thyroid issue. Fingers crossed. Trying not to worry about it. I mean..his energy is good, he's eating and drinking and using his litter box. He's lost a lot of weight though. Thyroid though, that's treatable. So...hopefully I'll hear something tomorrow.
Anyway...hope all are well!

Date: 2013-04-02 05:14 pm (UTC)Makes a great excuse for watching BBC programs! LOL Seriously..I love British crime dramas. The writing is always so much better and the stories are usually so much more 3 dimensional then American dramas.
