So chapter 8 is probably going to be a long chapter. I've got the first section done. Took me longer than I anticipated to get it done, but I'm good with it. This was supposed to be the "light" and easy part. Ha! My muse is sooooo angsty!
Anyway, now I have to work on the really heavy duty parts. Hope to have the chapter up by this weekend.

More work on Lost Angels
Mar. 16th, 2019 12:02 am So did some more work on Lost Angels tonight. Hoping to get chap 7 posted sometime this weekend. Then of course I'll switch back to Captivated. I'm in a pickle. I want to work on both so the only thing I can do satisfy my muse is to alternate. I think that's good though as Lost Angels is "lighter" than Captivated and gives me a little break from the heavy angst.
I have a busy weekend, but am committed to get some writing done.

Miss The Interaction
Mar. 14th, 2019 10:50 pmSo while I really like posting my stories to A03, I do miss the interaction of the old days with LJ. On A03 I can't just put out a friendly little post to let folks know the status of where I'm between updates.
I also have lost touch with how people even rec or find communities anymore. I suppose some of that is on twitter. LOL Boy do I feel old school. Maybe this is what ham radio operators feel like in the age of smart phones?
I feel like I should be playing Space Oddity in the background.
Anyway, while I don't feel right about posting on LJ anymore, I thought I'd give dreamwidth a try again. I could post links to my stories to AO3 while just giving quick shout outs on the process.

In that time, the Winchesters had found a way to remove the Mark of Cain but not without a cost. Castiel was dead, Chuck was dying, and the Darkness was on the verge of not only undoing all of creation but ‘joining’ with Dean through some mumbo-jumbo bond she claimed to have with him. Now was as a good a time as any for a one-way ride to wide to oblivion Hail Mary play, and Dean Winchester was all too happy to carry the ball.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope someone bought Death a pizza from Chicago and 2017 will be much better. In my attempt to start the year off right, I have some news for everyone.

Desert Ice is due to be released 1/31/2017 as an original fic through LooseID!
Yep, 2016 is not only the year I finished Sneer, but rewrote, finished, and submitted Desert Ice for publication!
I don't have the link yet to it (this will be an ebook). We are still finalizing things, but when last I spoke with my editor, we are still on target for the 1/31/2017.
2017 is the year when I kick off a whole new phase to my writing life.
So, Happy New Year! I will keep you updated.

I was hoping to make a big announcement by now, but something called "edits" has caused a delay. December 10th was going to be a big day for me, but now I'm keeping my eyes (and focus) on January 31, 2017.
Let's just say, I have been doing a lot of writing...and seemingly never ending edits. However, it's all worth it.

Back and Feeling Good!

Surgery went well. Recovery went well. Was a bit challenging due to some restrictions but in terms of health I'm doing great. In fact I feel better than I have in over a year. Just starting to get my energy back.
I do have other exciting news but am holding off sharing until everything is official and what not.
