Quick Update on schedule for Sneer

All,

I've started chap 9 but it may not get posted until Sunday at the earliest; Monday at the latest. I have the MS Walk in the morning and then GMing  a dungeon crawl for my youngest  and D&D obsessed nephew (7) while babysitting tomorrow (Sat) night.

I'll try to get a least one more update out next week.

Then....next weekend (Memorial Day) my oldest nephew (14) will be down to visit with me.  So obviously no slash writing while his around (in fact have to set up security on my computer again).  This will be the second visit since his mom died.

Then from June 2-7 I will be at a conference for work. Will be an intensive training week. I'm hoping to scribble in my notebook in the evenings and hopefully post a bunch when I get back.

Just giving you all a heads up. My muse is going strong...but she's being hobbled by Aunt duties and work responsibilities.

That Auntie thing you spoke about? Mucho importante! Xander's good at holding still until you're ready for him to move again. Your nephew needs you now. Desperate age for family comfort, even if he doesn't show it. Give him a few sekrit hugs from me.

Thank you. Babysitting went well. Now preparing for visit from other nephew this weekend. Still unsure how to keep a 14 boy entertained; but all went well last visit (though I still have whiplash from hip hop one minute to nickelodeon for teens the next).

Will sneak as many sekrit hugs as I can. LOL

You are so lucky to have nephews, even if you have to babysit them sometimes! Have a very good time, and your faithful fans will be waiting for the updates when you are ready.

Yeah...I know I'm lucky. And they are both pretty good boys. The oldest has had to grow up too quickly. I understand some of the obstacles he's had to face. He's a good kid though. Look forward to seeing him this weekend.

Babysitting the youngest went well. Good to see him. :)

Hope to have chap 9 shipped off to the betas sometime tonight.

I meant to ask - in chapter 7 was the pregnant Anne the Anne/Chanterelle of canon?

*ding ding ding* Yep..you got it. Was a throw away line to help give some more detail about Spike's stables but I thought I'd sneak in a reference to cannon. :)

I giggled when I wrote it and I wondered if anyone would get it. :)
