Well actually..I did try and plant a little hint back in chap 15. Wes says: "...Watchers may be a function of the Council used to train and help Regents but we’re also watchers. We record everything the girls do and study it for patterns of behavior or insights that will help us keep the Regents under control. The Council learned a little something from their mistake with the Biogens.”
Ok..so it's a wee hint...but I did try and plant it. :)
I'm glad you loved the twists I do on canon. I do try and think what works...and yes the breeding farms was a great way to blend in the "betrayal" of Giles and work in the sudden appearance of Dawn at the same time. :)
Don't worry...Dawn doesn't have a big part in Breaking Free. :)
