Great chapter, but oh how awful! Just glad that Spike understood :)
Spike closed his eyes and swallowed his own fear and old memories. This is Xan! He silently reminded himself. This is my pet. Then Spike relaxed as much as he could allow.
Write more, I'm so worried!
Oh, and interesting to see the interaction between Xander and the Scoobies (do they have another name that fits the story, can't remember?)
