I'm very glad to see more of this. Love the "tough it out" bits. Xander's reaction to the idea of his imminent meeting with Angel is really well done. I can't wait to see how that goes.
And on a side note, I just spent far too long staring at the title image (or whatever you want to call it), wondering why Mal was on it. Then I remembered that he played Caleb, too. lol
