I wasn't sure how this would play out. Once again it turned out a lot longer than I had anticipated.

I'm really glad you liked the bonding scene at the end. That was a surprise addition. I originally hadn't spec'ed it out; but about half way through the story I realized that the scene needed to be there. The rest of the team just wouldn't leave Ronon alone in the rain.

It wasn't until I finished writing it that I realized how much then I loved that ending and how much better it was then my original concept.
